Arundel

Once famously described by Hilaire Bellor as the Jewel of Sussex, this picturesque town of Arundel is home to the Duke of Norfolk and the restaurant nestles in the shadows of the castle, which dates back to the 11th Century. The restaurant is a Grade II listed building with an original 15th Century painting on the wattle and daub wall. From the heated al fresco dining area it is possible to view other historic buildings of the towns skyline including the Victorian Gothic Cathedral. The interiors exposed wooden beams and brickwork lend a certain charm to the intimate character of the cosy but family friendly restaurant.
